Unveiled61 is a space where I invite you into the dressing room of my life. Through lived experiences and lessons learned, I’ll share how you can recover your own wholeness, beauty, identity, purpose, and trust in God. Often these things get lost in the wake of copious challenges, rocky relationships, and slippery sin—theirs and ours. We seek satisfaction and chase uncatchable lovers to our displeasure. There just has to be a better way. And there is.

My name is Whitney Nicole. Like many who share my namesake, I’m the product of the 80s’ love for the famed Whitney Houston. Though I didn’t get her sound, I certainly have found one of my own through writing. Writing has been a passion of mine since childhood where in notebooks you’d find the stringed lines of a poetic girl who knew loss and distorted love too soon.

The road I started down was one I kept tumbling on and back to every time I seemed to find a better one to travel. Perhaps you’ve been there before too. Perhaps you’re still there now. Well you’re in good company. I know where you are, and I can help you navigate back to that path you really want to be on.

I’m on a path of recovery, passion, and purpose, as I birth the woman and dreams planted on the inside of me. The greatest of those I’m now nurturing is a sweet little boy named Joshua. When I’m not writing, catching one of my favorite YouTube episodes, munching on Goldfish and tacos, or exploring the great outdoors, you can find me tickling and playing with this lovable kid.
